When you use water indoors, it goes down the drain and into the sewer system. So, the less water you use, the lower your water and sewer charges will be.

  • Shorten showers: Save 2.5 gals/min
  • Replace old toilet: Save 2.2-3.8 gals/flush
  • Fix leaky toilets,faucets: Save 15-30 gals/day
  • Turn water off shaving, brushing teeth: Save 2 gals/day
  • Replace old clothes washer: Save 20-30 gals/load
  • Run full clothes washer: Save 15-50 gals/load
  • Run full dishwasher: Save 2-4.5 gals/load
