TIERED WATER USAGE RATES for single-family residences are designed to promote water conservation. Under the tiered rate structure, customers pay less per unit of water, the less water they use. |

The annual WATER SERVICE CHARGE is for the maintenance, repair and improvement of the District’s water system, which consists of 147 miles of pipeline, 9 pump stations, 14 reservoirs, 1,500 fire hydrants, 1,700 valves and other facilities. It is a fixed charged collected on the annual property tax statement. |

The annual SEWER SERVICE CHARGE is for the maintenance, repair and improvement of the District’s sewer system and for treatment of wastewater. The District’s sanitary sewer system consists of 140 miles of pipeline, 14 lift stations, 3 miles of force mains, 3,700 manholes and other facilities. It is a fixed charge collected on the annual property tax statement. |
