South Coast Water District's Water-Wise Demonstration Garden features a variety of drought-tolerant plants. To create the garden, designed by Jodie Cook Landscape Design, irrigated turf was removed and replaced with California-friendly plants, artwork, and two large rain barrels.
The public is invited to visit our Administrative Office at 31592 West Street in Laguna Beach to take a look during our business hours: Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m
Here are a few key elements in the garden:
Dudleya pulverulenta, also known as Chalk Liveforever
Artwork inspired by local topography
Rain barrels, boulders, and mulch
